I'm going to start just sending this link to people when they send out mass e-mails asking if such-and-such a site is down --> downforeveryoneorjustme.com. It's genius!
Yeah, I already tried this. And it was everything I hoped it would be.

A fantastic idea. It could also result in some interesting data collection. Beyond knowing which sites people are routinely experiencing trouble with (and the region they are attempting to access from), you have the ability to collect site addresses of otherwise never googled internal corporate sites (Yes, I think people will enter their intranet sites here when they forget to VPN).
For individuals accusing local ISPs of censorship or net un-neutrality (I just made it up... someone call Scoble), data from this might provide compelling evidence.
